Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Team in Winter Springs, Florida. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of water and wastewater systems, mentoring junior engineers and advancing technical capabilities.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has at least four years of relevant experience, and is proficient in modeling software and MS Office. You will collaborate across disciplines to protect public health and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience.
• Water/wastewater and/or municipal engineering experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and engineering laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water and wastewater projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital water infrastructure
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
