Job summary

T&M Associates in Bethlehem, PA (hybrid) is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our wastewater/hydraulics-focused team. You will work on design projects for wastewater treatment, hydraulic design, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), a PA PE license, 5+ years in water/wastewater, and strong communication. This role offers a collaborative, people-first environment with room for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license PA required.
• 5+ years engineering experience in water/wastewater.
• Knowledge of local, state, federal regulatory requirements for water and wastewater.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate improvements to treatment processes and equipment.
• Perform wastewater calculations and assist in process modeling.
• Design layouts and specs for system improvements with other design disciplines.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; prepare permit applications.
• Assist construction activities, reviews, RFIs, and contractor pay reviews.
