Job summary

Hanson is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 5 years of experience to support regional water and wastewater infrastructure projects from our Corpus Christi, Texas office. You will design systems, pump stations, and treatment units while collaborating with senior staff and clients.

You will contribute to operations and maintenance planning, guide junior engineers, and stay current with industry trends. The role requires a TX P.E.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in water/wastewater engineering, including design and operations/maintenance of treatment plants and pump stations.
• Bachelor’s degree in an ABET-accredited Engineering program.
• P.E. license required with ability to obtain TX P.E. within 6 months of employment.
• Familiarity with TCEQ regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design water distribution and wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and treatment units.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and pump sizing.
• Prepare plans, specs, permitting documents, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate regional project execution and engage with municipal/private stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
