We are looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Littleton, NH office. The ideal candidate focuses on the development and design of infrastructure projects for municipalities and community systems. Responsibilities include civil engineering design and permitting of infrastructure (water, sewer, storm) for municipal and community clients, and may also support residential, commercial, resort, and institutional projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, manage, and take responsible charge of civil engineering design tasks related to infrastructure projects such as drinking water treatment, distribution, storage, wastewater collection, and stormwater improvements.
2. Prepare and certify reports and permit applications for local, state, and federal land development and infrastructure permits.
3. Develop engineering studies and cost opinions for water and wastewater projects.
4. Perform CAD design work, including Civil 3D.
5. Assist with construction services, including contract administration, project representation, and preparation of bidding documents.

Qualifications:

• NH PE License is required; VT and ME licenses are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional civil engineering experience focusing on water and wastewater design in northern New England or similar environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Technical expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, site design, and permitting in New Hampshire or similar regulatory environments.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydraulics, water and sewer systems, and roadway/parking design.
• Ability to perform fieldwork, including carrying equipment and walking on undeveloped sites.
