Job summary

Egis in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of pipeline infrastructure projects, mentoring junior staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. City of Austin project delivery experience is preferred.

As a senior leader, you will guide design production, ensure quality, and support project execution from concept through construction. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 15+ years of engineering design experience, with a strong focus on pipeline infrastructure projects.
  • Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proven experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience leading design production efforts and directing junior engineers and designers.
  • Ability to support project management activities, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design standards and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

We are looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Austin, TX office.
