Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. in Bossier City, LA seeks a Senior Utility Operations Manager to lead municipal water treatment, production, and distribution projects.

You will guide operations, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service for the City of Bossier City and stakeholders. The role requires extensive water operations experience, strong leadership, and collaboration with project leadership to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of water treatment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• LDH Class IV Water Operator certifications or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SCADA, CMMS, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clear communication with clients throughout projects and updates.
• Monitor team progress, schedules, and deadlines.
• Review budgets and schedules relative to project progress.
• Perform project status reviews and ensure timeliness of completion.
• Attend project management meetings and maintain files.
• Assist Project Managers with administrative duties and reports.
• Contribute to engineering studies and quality control procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to project team.
