Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• Extensive experience in water treatment facility design.
• Experience designing facilities in the Texas Fort Worth/Dallas region.
• Proven success managing large or complex projects.
• Proficiency with engineering software for design and analysis.

We are seeking a Senior Water Treatment Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal drinking water treatment plants and other water treatment projects. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in process and facility design as a key member of our broader water resources engineering team. Your work will have a direct impact on the safety, reliability, efficiency, and long-term resilience of critical water infrastructure. • Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning for water/wastewater services and assist with business development efforts including client engagement and proposal development.
• Prepare proposals and/or funding applications.

Qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
• Extensive and progressive experience in water treatment facility design.
• Experience designing water treatment facilities in Texas is needed; experience in the Fort Worth / Dallas region is preferred
• Proven success in managing large and/or complex water treatment facility design projects.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver’s License
