HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team in Houston, Texas. This role demands extensive technical expertise in integrated planning for water supply, flood risk management, and environmental restoration.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $195,000, along with various benefits, including health insurance, a retirement savings plan with employer match, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Experience with federal plan formulation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium‑to‑large planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning, and programming experience.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
