The role emphasizes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, regulatory compliance, and strong client interaction, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to a growing team across Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Water Resources emphasis.
• 5+ years in water resources engineering, focusing on stormwater.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
• Strong knowledge of local/state/federal water regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop stormwater management systems ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to assess flood risk and capacity.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate water resources into projects.
• Prepare environmental reports, permits, and impact assessments.
• Lead and manage water resource projects, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Serve as primary client contact providing technical expertise.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction to ensure specs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and apply innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff in water resource engineering.
• Adhere to internal Quality Control processes for accuracy.
