Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Denver, Colorado, seeks a Water Resources Engineer with 4–10 years of experience to support the Water Resources Group as a Project Engineer on municipal water projects.

You will perform analysis and design, supervise junior staff, conduct stormwater modeling, hydrologic studies, and assist in permitting and business development activities. The firm provides a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Master’s degree in Hydrology/Hydraulics preferred or related field.
• 4–10 years of relevant water resources experience.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.
• Supervise junior engineers and support staff to manage hydraulic design tasks.
• Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design.
• Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies.
• Assist in water resources permitting efforts.
• Prepare and present technical reports and drawings for detention facilities and other hydraulic structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects and support business development.
