Job summary

GRW Engineers, Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky seeks a Water Resources Engineer with a project management background to lead design and construction administration of water and wastewater projects.

The role focuses on delivering fiscally responsive, operationally efficient solutions by collaborating with local officials and service providers. You will manage planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases with an emphasis on quality, client satisfaction, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Kentucky or ability to obtain it.
• 10+ years of design and construction administration experience for water/wastewater infrastructure in a consulting environment.
• Strong technical background in water resources engineering; capable of planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience leading scopes of work and estimates for contract proposals; ability to manage a team and project constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects.
• Deliver fiscally responsive, operationally efficient water resources solutions.
• Coordinate with local officials, water utilities, and state agencies; represent the firm in meetings.
• Prepare scope of work, level-of-effort estimates, and manage budgets and schedules.
• Communicate effectively in reports and client interactions.
