Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Austin, TX is seeking a Water Resources Engineer/Senior Project Manager to lead complex water resources projects, coordinate design, permitting, and client communications, and mentor staff.

You will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, develop plans and reports, and manage projects from conception through construction, collaborating with regulators, engineers, and stakeholders in an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering is required.
• Texas PE license required or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years in water resources projects and related areas.
• Experience with TxDOT and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for design and assessment of surface water systems.
• Develop detailed plans, specs, cost estimates, calculations, and reports; support permit applications.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews on projects.
• Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff.
• Manage water resource projects and tasks; pursue client management opportunities.
