Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Austin, TX is seeking a Water Resource Engineer/Senior Project Manager to lead complex water resource projects.

You will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, develop plans and permit documents, and mentor a multidisciplinary team through design to construction with a client-focused mindset. Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensed in Texas.
• 10+ years of water resources experience (hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater, dam safety).
• Experience with TxDOT projects.
• Strong modeling with hydrologic/hydraulic processes.
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and 2D hydraulic modeling.
• Familiarity with LID/GI/Nature-Based Solutions.
• Experience producing engineering drawings and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced water resource design tasks on complex projects.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses for surface water systems.
• Develop plans, specs, estimates, calculations, and permit support.
• QA/QC reviews on projects and mentoring for staff.
• Manage water resource projects and pursue client opportunities.
