Job summary

Impact Recruitment has partnered with a leading design firm to hire an experienced Water Resources Engineer for Chicago, IL. You will lead the analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for stormwater projects for municipalities, state DOT, and federal agencies.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 10–15 years of related experience, and a PE license or plans to be licensed soon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer license required or to be licensed soon.
• Strong writing, oral communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with stormwater planning, modeling, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports for stormwater projects.
• Develop plans and specifications for projects for municipalities, DOT, and federal agencies.
• Supervise teams of professionals and technicians; manage client interactions.
