Job summary

BENEN seeks a Senior Engineer for Water Resources in Roseville, California. You will guide the Water Resources team in planning, design, and delivery of water supply, wastewater, and related infrastructure for public agencies and utility clients, in collaboration with the Water Resources Vice President.

You will oversee analyses, models, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates, drive workload and staff development, and ensure technical quality and regulatory compliance while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited institution.
• Active California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 14+ years of engineering design experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Substantial experience in municipal water, wastewater, and related water infrastructure planning, design, permitting, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, planning direction, and QA/QC oversight for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Guide preparation and review of analyses, models, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and client standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Water Resources VP to strengthen technical standards and delivery practices.
• Lead multiple projects and coordinate delivery teams through scope, schedule, budget, and client commitments.
