Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) is seeking an Engineer IV to join our team and lead stream, wetland, or stormwater projects. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding teams through complex hydrologic, hydraulic, and ecological designs while managing regulatory reviews, project delivery, and field implementation.

You’ll mentor junior staff, drive quality across projects, and help clients navigate technically challenging restoration efforts, including fieldwork and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
• PE License in the applicable state is required.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience (8+ years with advanced degree).
• 2+ years of staff management and mentoring experience.
• Advanced proficiency with design and modeling tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS/HMS, TR-55, FlowMaster, GIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams on stream, wetland, or stormwater projects from concept through construction.
• Manage regulatory reviews, project delivery, and field implementation.
• Coordinate with clients and regulators to align technical solutions with real-world needs.
