### **Job Description**## **Overview**We are seeking a **Senior Water Resources Engineer Group Lead** to join our **Henderson, NV** office. This role will supervise other engineering staff and support projects and tasks related to flood control design, highway drainage, stormwater/flood control master planning, hydrologic & hydraulic modelling, and FEMA CLOMR/LOMR submittals. This role will manage drainage/flood control design tasks on large, inter-disciplinary projects and be project manager for local projects/studies.## **Your role*** Lead and mentor junior engineers in the development of design concepts.* Markets company services and pursue new project opportunities by maintaining contacts with current and prospective clients.* Coordinate with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate with other disciplines.* Plan and review the production of engineering investigations, models, planning work, reports, drawings and specifications.* Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects, weighing alternatives and selecting the most cost-effective solution.* Analyze technical problems, assess the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures, and devise new approaches and alternative solutions.* Analyze project dimension and scope, and prepare or oversee the preparation of cost and manpower estimates, schedules and job budgets.* Coordinate work with other project and task managers, guides others on drafting and design of preliminary and final plans, guides others on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and preparation of studies/reports.* Provide quality control and maintain quality standards, check work performed by others.* Manage projects.* Perform other duties as necessary.## **About you*** B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
