AtkinsRéalis Group in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead municipal projects and manage client and sub-consultant negotiations. You will plan, schedule, bill, and report on project progress, while guiding junior staff in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and final designs.

Requires a B.S./M.S. in Civil Engineering with Water Resources, 10+ years’ experience, and a Florida PE license.

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering with a Water Resources specialization.
• 10+ years of experience and Florida Professional Engineer registration.
• Experience managing municipal projects, budgets and schedules.
• Strong technical writing and client/communication skills.

### **Job Description**## **Overview**We are seeking a ***Senior Water Resources Engineer*** to join our team in **Orlando, FL.**## **Your role*** Project manager for multiple municipal projects. Conducts contract negotiations with clients and sub-consultants.* Plans, schedules, billings and reports, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.* Performs preliminary engineering design and/or reviews the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers or drafters.* Works with external clients at progress meetings and throughout project to meet client needs, project schedules, goals and deadlines.* Prepares cost and man-hour estimates, job budgets and schedules.* Performs quality control and guidance of junior staff related to hydrologic/hydraulic models or methods.* Prepares or oversees the preparation of final plans and design reports and submits them for approval.* Prepares or oversees the preparation of hydrologic/hydraulic models and modeling reports and submits them for approval.* Coordinates work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff.* May perform other duties as the supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary.## **About you*** B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources).* Management coursework and/or MBA is a plus.* Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida with 10+ years of experience.* Demonstrated experience in project management including budget, schedule and deliverable performance.* Demonstrated experience working with municipalities, water management districts, and other water agencies.* Good technical writing, computer and communications skills.## **Rewards & benefits**At AtkinsRéalis, our values—Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence—are more than just words.
