Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct Hire Authority for this position; DHA.
• Specialized Experience of 1 year in water resources engineering incl. reservoir ops, hydrology, GIS.
• Candidate must have Federal experience, no substitution of education for experience.
• Time-in-grade requirements apply for current federal employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership to Districts for strategic planning and regional initiatives.
• Oversee reservoir operations including water control and low-flow requirements.
• Lead development and coordination of water control manuals and hydrologic studies.
• Apply GIS/geospatial capabilities to support engineering and decision-making.
