Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to provide QA services for water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in construction inspection and a Bachelor of Science in a related field. Responsibilities include onsite project inspections and maintaining compliance with contract documents. This role requires excellent communication skills and a valid driver’s license, with work scheduled during both day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a Construction Inspector.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner’s Rep’ and QA services for water and wastewater capital improvements.
• Inspect and record Contractor’s construction activities to ensure contract compliance.
• Compile Inspection Team’s field information and produce reports.
• Assist in setting inspection standards and notify Senior Management of significant issues.
• Work onsite at client location, both day and night shifts as assigned.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret contract documents

Knowledgeable in math, including geometry and trigonometry

Excellent communication skills

Ability to maintain records and prepare reports

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering Technology
