Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Lab Technician to perform regulatory analyses and maintain data quality for water and wastewater samples. You will collect samples from various sources, maintain instrumentation, and uphold calibration, safety, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a standard high school education with chemistry, biology and math courses.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state employed.
• Must be available for 24 hour call and weekend rotation.
• Must obtain State Board of Examiners Wastewater/Water Laboratory Analyst Certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples at prescribed intervals from water sources and treatment facilities for lab analysis.
• Perform physical and bacteriological analyses including BOD, COD, TOC, and metals as required.
• Enter analytical results and observations and maintain quality control records.
• Maintain calibration and working order of lab equipment and materials.
• Attend safety trainings and comply with company safety policies.
