Job summary

T&M Associates, based in Bethlehem, PA, seeks a Staff Engineer to lead wastewater treatment and hydraulic design projects in a hybrid setting. The role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory compliance, and process improvements across multiple design disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (PA preferred).
• 5+ years of engineering experience in water and/or wastewater.
• Knowledge of local, state, regional, and federal regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential improvements in treatment processes and equipment.
• Conduct wastewater treatment process calculations and assist in process modeling for sizing and configuration.
• Design layouts and specs for treatment system improvements with equipment, pumps, piping, tanks, and control systems.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and permit applications as needed.
• Assist in construction-related activities including reviewing drawings, RFIs, and tracking progress.
