Job summary
Gresham Smith is seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager (Conveyance) in the Water + Environment market to lead planning, design, and delivery of wastewater and stormwater projects in the Nashville area, guiding teams from concept through construction, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met. You will manage client relationships, mentor engineers, and drive high‑quality results.
A PE license, 15+ years in water/wastewater, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, REVIT, and hydraulic
Qualifications
- PE licensure required.
- 15+ years in water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects in a consultant role.
- 8+ years as a Project Manager overseeing delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and evaluation of wastewater and stormwater conveyance and utility projects.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling for conveyance systems (stormwater, gravity, and pressure).
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specs, and cost estimates.
- Manage project delivery from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget.
- Support construction with field visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination.
- Maintain client relationships and clearly communicate project goals.
