Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Architectural Engineering Technician in Overland Park, KS, to support VDDS projects. You will contribute to design, analysis, and detailing of architectural components, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure programs.

The role requires extensive CAD/BIM proficiency, strong technical leadership, and a track record of delivering high-quality drawings in accordance with project standards. Hybrid work options available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead as senior engineering technician and technical design specialist.
• Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges.
• Create, modify, and maintain drawings using CAD/BIM.
• Provide guidance and oversight to other engineering technicians.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project standards.
