Job summary

Carollo Engineers seeks a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer to lead innovative design projects and mentor a multidisciplinary team across Florida and nationwide. You will oversee from preliminary design to construction, develop hydraulic calculations, and coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineers.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of wastewater/reuse experience, and strong communication with clients and project teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Experience managing medium- to large-sized projects with budget, schedule, and QA/QC responsibility
• Strong communication with clients and project teams
• Knowledge of wastewater and reuse system design and master planning
• Proficient in design, QA/QC, and proposal development
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater design projects and mentor staff across disciplines.
• Plan and conduct engineering work from preliminary design through construction.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and QA/QC for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
• Develop hydraulic calculations and process evaluations.
• Serve as project manager on mid- to large-sized projects.
• Develop proposals and participate in client interviews.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and manage subconsultants.
• Travel as required.
