Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer for the Southeast, based in the Cary, NC area. You will apply your extensive wastewater treatment expertise to lead technical deliverables, pilot evaluations, and regulatory compliance across projects locally and nationally.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a civil/environmental/mechanical engineering degree, 12+ years of experience, and a track record in project leadership and business development within water resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred).
• Professional Engineer license (P.E.).
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience with wastewater and/or industrial treatment.
• Proven experience working on wastewater treatment projects.
• Related project management and task leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects and tasks.
• Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to wastewater treatment.

• Serve as SME in wastewater treatment technologies and guide project strategies.
• Lead project management, delivery, and task leadership for wastewater initiatives.
• Engage in business development and strategic market positioning.
