Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
• Grade IV or higher Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License and Commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the main control system.
• Perform wastewater process control and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff on preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• May operate heavy equipment and lift stations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Assist in training OITs and helpers.
