Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Senior Wastewater Operator to support environmental compliance and efficient plant operations. You will lead wastewater operations, train associates, and maintain critical equipment and processes in collaboration with the Wastewater Lead.

Responsibilities include documentation, SOP development, safety adherence, and ensuring proper loading and preventive maintenance of wastewater systems. This role is Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm, onsite at a Perdue facility.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, analytical, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and consult with Wastewater Lead as needed.
• Ensure proper training of wastewater associates.
• Train wastewater staff on proper operation of offal and wastewater systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs for operations and staff.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for wastewater operations.
• Make operational decisions to maintain wastewater area operations.
