Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• ADEQ Grade 3 Wastewater Operator certification is required.
• At least 3 years of experience operating an advanced wastewater facility or related site; 2+ years at Grade 3/4 level.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and adjustments on pumps, motors, blowers, chemical feed equipment, sludge equipment and lab equipment.
• Collect and analyze wastewater samples; report results.
• Interpret readings from meters/SCADA and adjust operations as needed.
• Prepare reports and assist with data tables/spreadsheet creation.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and confined space requirements.
