Job summary

GBA seeks a Civil Engineer V Wastewater Lead Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across our potable wastewater projects and to help shape engineering standards within the Wastewater Environment practice.

You will lead design oversight, review complex calculations, and mentor multidisciplinary teams while engaging with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required.
• 10 years of relevant engineering experience in wastewater.
• Experience leading complex potable wastewater projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for complex potable wastewater projects across design and delivery.
• Serve as technical authority for design quality, standards, and QA/QC across multiple projects.
• Lead design oversight for wastewater distribution systems, storage facilities, and treatment facilities.
• Review and approve complex calculations, hydraulic models, plans, and reports.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence.
