Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Applications Development & Maintenance professional to lead and support large-scale warehouse management system initiatives. You will apply SDLC and Agile practices to design, configure, test, and deploy changes across complex WMS environments, driving stability and performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and business teams, mentoring engineers, and ensuring reliable operations in distribution networks, with familiarity in MAWM and RF-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and labor management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle, large-scale implementations using SDLC and Agile.
• Ability to configure/test/implement changes to WMS applications to improve warehouse processes.
• Experience troubleshooting application malfunctions and user issues; ability to resolve or escalate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; document systems, events, and configuration decisions clearly.
• Basic knowledge/understanding of Labor Management concepts.
• Basic knowledge/understanding of RF systems and warehouse equipment (handhelds, printers, access points, etc.).
• Experience with or exposure to test automation frameworks and automated regression approaches.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and operational analytics for WMS stability; MAWM experience strongly preferred.
