Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Senior Warehouse Technician for a climate-controlled distribution center in Crown Point, IN. You will support specialized order preparation and light manufacturing while handling stand-up forklift and reach truck tasks.

The role covers Receiving, Picking, and Shipping duties with RF scanners/voice systems, plus occasional overtime. Applicants must pass drug screening and background checks and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Stand-up forklift and reach truck experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED; drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and tools to prepare customer orders.
• Gather multiple parts and components and package them as one order set.
• Measure and cut fiber cable to customer specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain strong quality and safety standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Rotate through Receiving: unload trucks, verify shipments, stock materials.
• Rotate through Picking: use RF scanners or voice systems, pull items, stage materials.
• Rotate through Shipping: double-check order accuracy, pack, build pallets and load trailers.
