Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory software usage.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workflows and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload transport materials using appropriate material handling equipment ensuring items are moved efficiently and without damage.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and label products correctly.
• Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels and material locations while following protocols to reduce inventory loss and discrepancies
• Process returned items with proper documentation while communicating with internal departments to resolve issues regarding returns and discrepancies.
• Report or address equipment malfunctions promptly to avoid disruption in workflow.
• Monitor and control the movement of materials and supplies to support production and customer order fulfillment.
• Create and process purchase orders as needed.
