Job summary

Boston International is seeking a Warehouse Specialist, the top non-management warehouse role, to perform and support a broad range of operations. The role requires cross-training across warehouse functions and advanced knowledge of WMS.

You will handle picking, packing, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and help train staff; you will investigate discrepancies and help implement improvements while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Extensive warehouse experience or progression through warehouse roles.
• Advanced knowledge of the WMS and inventory movement.
• Ability to train others and support operations.
• Forklift and warehouse equipment experience; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform major warehouse functions, including picking, packing, receiving, shipping, replenishment, inventory movement, transfers, order staging, labeling, cycle counting, and inventory verification.
• Move between functions as needed to support daily priorities and maintain workflow.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, incorrect locations, shortages, overages, damaged product, and transaction errors.
• Assist management with resolving inventory, order, workflow, and warehouse process issues.
• Complete product, location, inventory, and order research and assist with authorized inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Assist employees with WMS, scanner, inventory, and workflow questions and help keep work moving when issues occur.
• Provide hands‑on training and guidance to Warehouse Operator I and Warehouse Operator II employees.
• Identify recurring operational issues, communicate recommended improvements, and maintain high productivity, accuracy, safety, and professional standards.
