Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Greer, SC seeks a Senior Warehouse Associate to manage all shipping and receiving tasks at a customer location under limited supervision. You will ensure the correct items are picked, packed and delivered on time, keep inventory organized, and may deliver items to customers, obtaining signatures as needed.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience; basic computer and math skills are required; forklift certification and a valid driver's

Basic computer skills and math/reading comprehension.
Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Determine which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales orders.
Pull orders and recheck them to ensure accuracy.
Prepare items for delivery to customer.
Secure packages to prevent damage in shipping.
Prepare customer returns for shipment back to DC, FC, or supplier.
Receive items in the computer system to show stock availability.
May deliver items to customers and obtain signatures.
May process counter sales or invoices.
