Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely shipments, accurate inventory, and compliant documentation. You will coordinate with production, QA, planning, and customer service to optimize material flow and freight handling.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement within the warehouse and transport processes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership capability in warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing settings.
• Accurate interpretation of work orders, packing lists, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems; JDE experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assigns team members to shipping/receiving tasks to meet production and delivery goals.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts assignments to support changing schedules and priorities.
• Communicates with supervisors and other departments about shipment status and inventory concerns.
• Coordinates loading/unloading, packaging, and movement of materials using standard equipment.
• Ensures proper documentation and compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintains safety, quality, and cleanliness in the shipping/receiving area.
• Supports training and coaching of team members in processes and work instructions.
• Reviews packing lists and shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
