Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible occupational safety experience in warehousing/logistics.
• Minimum of three years leading safety programs across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA general-industry standards and their application.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and safety audits.
• Ability to influence leaders, coach staff, and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of warehouse safety programs across multiple sites.
• Advise site leadership on regulatory requirements, risk reduction, and safety trends.
• Develop and standardize safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Lead programs for powered industrial trucks, loading docks, and PPE.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations; document findings.
• Track corrective actions to completion and verify effectiveness.
• Deliver safety training, orientation, toolbox talks, and coaching.
• Support OSHA audits and regulatory reporting; maintain logs and records.
• Travel 30%-40% to FreezPak locations; respond to incidents outside hours as needed.
