Job summary

APL Logistics in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load, unload, and store customer products using forklifts and related equipment. You will locate, load, and stage goods, maintain safety and accuracy, and record activity.

Candidates should have 2+ years forklift experience, be able to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other power equipment, and possess basic math and data-entry skills. The role offers benefits and a competitive hourly wage of $21.75.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years forklift/tow motor experience required (forklift certification required).
• Operate forklift – sit-down and stand-up, tow motor, pallet jack; clamp, reach and slip sheet as needed.
• Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures.
• Light data entry skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions; write legibly; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Pulling orders: locate and load/unload customer products onto/from pallets and shelves using forklift and RF units as applicable.
• Verify trailers and dock assignments; follow safety rules and company policy.
• Load and unload orders; complete paperwork (Bill of Lading, Pick Report, Trailer Audit).
• Complete activity and statistical reports; assist in inventories.
• Provide other services such as sanitation tasks and moving materials as directed.
