Job summary

Bayer seeks an experienced Senior Material Handler to support the Consumer Health division at the Myerstown site in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and shipping materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and safely operating warehouse equipment in a GMP/SOP-driven environment.

Responsibilities include forklift operations, batch documentation, and coordinating with transportation partners while adhering to site safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must read/interpret SOPs and work instructions.
• Proficient computer skills; SAP/MES experience preferred.
• Prior experience with automated inventory systems is required.
• Must have forklift operation certification and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities: receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to meet production priorities.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste as required.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for material movements and transfers.
