The role requires 5–10 years of leadership in a high-SKU distribution environment, hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems, and a proven ability to drive performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years managing a high SKU, dynamic, multi-shift distribution operation.
• Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and yard activities related to material and information flow, including receiving, storage, transfers, inventory and shipping to meet commitments.
• Measure and report performance against financial, operational and customer service metrics; lead in development of these.
• Work cross-functionally on strategic projects to support growth.
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement to exceed customer expectations in service.
• Ensure staffing through recruiting, training and development, including temp-to-hire planning.
• Oversee personnel reviews and disciplinary actions for management and hourly staff.
• Create, implement, and enforce policies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Validate ERP/WMS processes to ensure data integrity across operations.
• Manage warehouse equipment fleet and optimize fleet size and type.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Promote safety and maintain training and record-keeping for all associates.
• Plan layout and product flow to maximize warehouse efficiency.
• Present as SME through ongoing learning and external publications.
