Job summary

Holt Logistics Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a growing frontline team and all warehouse operations. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and drives staff efficiency while ensuring adherence to company standards and safety regulations.

Key duties include training personnel in SOPs, managing inventory and audits, coordinating with shipping, drivers and customers, and maintaining organized storage to maximize workflow.

Qualifications

• Ability to closely supervise and motivate personnel.
• Knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations preferred.
• TWIC credential obtainable if required.
• Professional appearance and public image.

Responsibilities

• Trains warehouse personnel in SOPs and safe work practices.
• Manages inventory, counts and audits of all warehouse products.
• Liaises with shipping office, drivers, customers and warehouse personnel to ensure process efficiency.
• Confers with other warehouse supervisors and managers to coordinate activities within the warehouse.
• Updates warehouse manager on daily activities.
• Maintains warehouse storage area by organizing floor space and maximizing work flow.
• Practices OSHA standards and ensures that all safety procedures are followed.
• Operate forklift.
• Identify damaged goods and repackage as necessary.
• Identify damaged boxes and remove or repackage as necessary.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
