Job summary

Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., seeks a results-driven operations leader for its Flint, MI warehouse. You will oversee 2nd shift warehousing activities, including pick-and-pack, sequencing, and inventory management, while guiding supervisors and hourly staff toward safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of leadership in warehousing/logistics/manufacturing or 3PL.
• Proven ability to lead frontline supervisors and large hourly workforces.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience working with customers and managing operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, sequencing, and material flow.
• Provide leadership to supervisors and associates, fostering accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance metrics, labor utilization, and inventory accuracy to meet customer expectations.
• Develop supervisors and team members through coaching and performance management.
• Partner with customer representatives to maintain strong relationships and address operational concerns.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, and succession planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Manage daily operational reporting and communicate performance to senior leadership.
• Lead problem-solving efforts and support corrective actions to improve performance.
