Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler III at the Salisbury, NC Distribution Center. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent and one year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Average math skills and effective reading & writing skills.
• Problem solving ability and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using labeling systems and printers, packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, and shrink wrapping.
• Document packaging activity using RF scanners and keyboard data entry.
• Pick orders using powered industrial equipment.
• Conduct cart put away and restock picking.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts on powered industrial equipment.
• Partner with Quality Control to ensure only authorized, quality goods are packed into stock.
