Job summary

Composites One is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse activities, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficient operations. You will drive staffing, coordinate shipping/receiving, and manage inventory to optimize ROA and operating income.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience and strong knowledge of FIFO, OSHA, HAZMAT, and SAP/WMS systems. Leadership and cost-conscious logistics are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment, including supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in team development and staff coaching.
• Experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and pick/pack.
• In-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and HAZMAT shipping.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with SAP and WMS familiarity.
• Familiar with UPS, FedEx and dedicated logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse activities to meet operating income goals.
• Develop staffing systems and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate shipping/receiving errors and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain supplier partnerships and coordinate product movement.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
• Monitor freight transactions and optimize logistics costs.
• Lead a safety-focused, customer-oriented warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with warehousing, safety, and shipping requirements.
