Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.
• Demonstrated skill in inventory control, storage, receiving and issuing goods.
• Demonstrated skill in records management and preparing workplace reports.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend workplace policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Position maintains an effective and efficient institutional warehouse operation ensuring an adequate inventory level of approved items in compliance with DOC and institutional policy and procedure.
• Responsible for daily receipt and delivery of warehouse/commissary items.
• Maintains perpetual inventory system. Assists with physical inventory of warehouse items.
• Maintains safety and security and sanitation of warehouse operation.
• Position serves as the surplus and excess property coordinator for the facility.
• Ensures proper inspection and accurate documentation is recorded and maintained on items received, stocked and distributed.
• Ensures all staff and supervisees workers are properly trained, supervised and monitored.
