Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC is seeking a certified Material Handler to support fast-paced warehouse operations at DFW Airport, TX. The role requires forklift certification and extensive warehouse distribution experience to handle shipments and receipts for a global manufacturer and distributor.

The position is a right-to-hire contract with a competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50 and scheduled hours from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10 years of forklift experience, including 5 years with stand-up reach forklifts.
• 10 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Experience in large distribution centers using stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Completion of required pre-employment screening.
• Required steel-toe safety footwear by the first day of work.
• Regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual and clerical tasks related to shipping and receiving materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Receive and inspect goods, verifying items against shipment records.
• Pack and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete required written and computerized documentation.
