Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our team. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, picking, and staging product with power equipment, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 6 months of related experience, and ability to operate powered industrial equipment. Safety and accuracy are critical in daily inventory and shipment tasks.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for the entire shift.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months prior work experience preferred.
• 6 months powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Recognize letters and numbers visually or orally.
• Basic math skills and quick numeric/alphanumeric sequencing.
• Basic computer usage skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using power equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Daily inspection on assigned equipment.
• Receiving/Putaway – unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the product in appropriate areas.
• Order picking – pull and prepare product for shipment.
• Loading – move product into trailers or containers.
• Operate all equipment (forklifts, order pickers) safely per OSHA standards.
• Some equipment may reach up to 55ft in the air.
• Inventory – keep records; assist in physical inventories; ensure stock rotation.
• Safety, housekeeping, security: maintain a safe, clean work area and report issues.
• Support the company’s safety program and procedures.
