Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer, Warehouse Design to lead design packages, facility layouts, and automation concepts for new projects.

You will manage engineering activities during implementation, coordinate with vendors, perform ROI analyses, and deliver AutoCAD layouts integrated into the chosen site.

Travel up to 50% may be required; a Bachelor's in Engineering and 8–10 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4 years of engineering experience in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing or related field.
• Experience leading Engineering teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Data Analytics team to analyze client data to determine order profiles, storage media application, product slotting, velocity, SKU affinities, ABC analysis.
• Prepares engineering calculations and documents to describe solution and detailed operating concepts such as storage and shipping capacity, facility sizing, zoning, slotting, waving, etc.
