Receiving & Intake Leadership
  • Lead and support daily receiving operations to ensure inbound product is unloaded, verified, documented, and routed accurately.
  • Review purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and delivery paperwork to validate quantity, item accuracy, and receiving completeness.
  • Make real-time decisions regarding dock prioritization, staging sequence, unloading order, and space utilization based on operational demand.
  • Identify damaged goods, shortages, overages, and vendor discrepancies; determine immediate containment steps and elevate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Act as the lead hourly contact for receiving issues and coordinate communication with supervisors, purchasing, vendors, and impacted departments when exceptions occur.
Inventory Control & Accuracy Oversight
  • Lead cycle counts, monthly inventories, spot checks, and variance follow-up activities to support inventory integrity and audit readiness.
  • Monitor warehouse organization, labeling, slotting, and stock rotation standards to ensure controlled storage conditions and efficient retrieval.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify probable root causes, and recommend or implement corrective actions within approved procedures.
  • Serve as the first level of review for unusual inventory movements, missing product, incorrect receipts, or fulfillment variances before escalating.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and warehouse leadership on inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and documentation support when needed.
Order Fulfillment & Property Distribution Ownership
  • Coordinate and prioritize requisition fulfillment based on operational urgency, business volume, and department needs across the property.
  • Verify pick accuracy, staging completeness, and timely delivery of supplies to food and beverage, hotel, facilities, and other operating departments.
  • Reassign or redirect workflow during high-volume periods to maintain service levels and minimize delays in distribution.
  • Support and oversee the movement of large, high-value, or operationally critical assets such as refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, furniture, and similar items.
  • Act as the first escalation point for issues involving delayed fulfillment, incorrect deliveries, backorders, or special handling requirements.
Warehouse Operations & Team Coordination
  • Act as lead on shift by helping direct day-to-day warehouse activity, balancing workloads, and reinforcing execution priorities established by warehouse leadership.
  • Provide guidance to warehouse associates on receiving flow, put-away, picking, staging, equipment usage, housekeeping expectations, and safe work practices.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members, including reinforcement of procedures, documentation standards, and department routines.
  • Monitor floor activity and proactively adjust labor or task assignments to support throughput, organization, and service continuity.
  • Recommend opportunities for process improvement related to space utilization, material flow, dock control, and fulfillment efficiency.
Safety, Compliance & Internal Controls
  • Reinforce warehouse safety expectations and ensure all team members follow established procedures for lifting, material handling, equipment usage, and housekeeping.
  • Monitor adherence to OSHA, Health Department, company safety standards, and internal control requirements applicable to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure controlled and compliant handling of inventory transactions, documentation, and physically sensitive or restricted materials in a regulated environment.
