Job summary

Wesco is hiring immediately for an experienced warehouse worker as a Senior Warehouse Associate at our Irving distribution facility. This role covers receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and light assembly, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. As a Senior Associate in Operations, you will verify orders, move materials to proper locations, weigh and label items for shipment, assist in loading trucks, and perform related quality assurance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into system
• Separate orders and place materials in proper locations
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
• Assist in loading trucks
• Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables
• Performs special customer quality assurance inspections

A Day in The Life of a Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in Operations, you will be responsible for performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, as well as housekeeping of other assigned areas. You may also be responsible for counter sales, cycle counting and related quality assurance activities.
